Yasmin is undoubtedly one of most original new artists to come out of the UK this year. With an ethereal rawness to her voice, Yasmin evokes memories of early British trip-hop pioneers Massive Attack & Portishead, her fragility and imagination combine with lyrical wit and candid choruses that reflect her independence and genuine, unique song-writing ability. Yasmin's feature on the Top 15 Devlin record 'Runaway' paved the way for the release of 'On My Own' co-written with Donaeo and produced by Shy FX which is reminiscent of the 90s trip hop sound she is influenced by.
