Defected In The House Miami '11

The Latin influence reigns supreme in South Beach, Miami, so who better to soundtrack the 2011 parties and the annual 'Defected In The House Miami '11' release than Spanish superstars DJ Chus and David Penn. Chus and Penn are a formidable Spanish duo who have been friends and co-producers since the early 90s and are also part of The New Iberican League with fellow Spanish DJ Abel Ramos. Mixing classic vibes with contemporary flavours, this is a hedonistic indulgence of pure, beat-driven House.

Chus & Penn have combined to create two superb peak time mixes of bumping thumping Spanish licked house music, incorporating exclusive upfront tracks, current dance anthems and old school disco vibes, including their own works and remixes.  Check out David Morales feat. Janice Robinson 'I Make You Gaga' (DJ Chus In Stereo Remix), DJ Chus & David Penn 'Libres Para Siempre', Cevin Fisher 'Libres Para Siempre' (Supernova Remix) - an album exclusive. The mix also includes other standout moments including Central Avenue 'Pushin’ (Original Mix), the brand new Olav Basoski 'New Day', Danism 'Love The Way' (DJ Chus Re-Rub) and Copyright feat. Imaani 'Nobody' (Jose de Mara Mash Mix). The compilation was released today and you can buy it on defected.

David Penn feat. Monia Amore - Ocean Drive (Open Your Mind)

You know when David Penn's involved that the drums are going to steal the show, and 'Ocean Drive' is no exception, although they're given a close run by an exceptionally powerful performance from new collaborator Monia Amore and some huge key stabs. Another sure-fire dancefloor hit from the crown house prince of Madrid. Early support by Bob Sinclar, Axwell, ATFC, The Shapeshifters. For the part 2 of the EP, which is coming on 16th of February 2011, you must expect a remix from the rest two members of The New Iberican League, DJ Chus & Abel Ramos (preview here). Dream Come True (DJ Chus & David Penn Iberican Remix)

DJ Chus and David Penn, the Madrid-based DJs and producers remixed the debut single of Abel Ramos' label, With Love Music. 'Dream Come True' is an original production from the label owner featurimg Erire's voice. DJ Chus, David Penn and Abel Ramos are self called The New Iberican League, so I think in the future we will see many collaborations between them. This remix is one of the highlights of today's releases and it's available on beatport.
