Eric Prydz's hit from 2008 'Pjanoo' will always be one of house music's anthems. There are so many DJs, who still dropping it on theirs sets, even if it's three years old. You propably have so many remixes, mashups, bootlegs and edits of the song, but here it is a brand new. Disfunktion is a true DJ/producer duo from Netherlands. They started spinning tunes together as best friends on different parties across the country. Slowly but surely they found a love for producing their own tracks as well. As many DJs, Disfunktion are preparing tracks for one of the biggest music events of every year, WMC. This bootleg is available for free.

Eric Prydz - Niton (The Reason)

Eric Prydz is one of the few dance artists circa 2010/11 who combine critical and commercial acclaim. 'Niton (The Reason)' is bearing all the hallmarks of becoming his 4th UK hit, having grown from an underground instrumental smash into one of 2010's biggest supremely uplifting club anthems featuring the vocals of Jan Burton. The track has been a Zane Lowe 'Hottest Record In The World', a Cool Cuts No.1, Essential New Tune for Pete Tong, and been championed by Annie Mac, Scott Mills, Vernon Kay, and many more.

Eric Prydz stands alone in his ability to mix commercial success with underground credibility and he is following the previous hits 'Call On Me' (2004), 'Proper Education' (2007) and 'Pjanoo' (2008). 'Niton (The Reason)' features remixes from Sigma, PRYDA, Treasure Fingers, Boy 8 Bit and of course the Club Mix of the vocal version, it looks set to follow his previous chart smashes. It was released today through Ministry of Sound Recordings and you can buy it on itunes. The Official Music Video was created by Immersive, who will also be doing visuals for Eric on his 2011 tour.

Preview: Cirez D & Acki Kokotos – ID

What to say about this guy? We don't need an introduction! Eric Prydz is the man and a brilliant producer. So many rumors with a big buzz around the last weeks about the next Pryda Friends release. Eric Prydz tweeted a few weeks about this release, he teamed up with the mysterious Acki Kokotos. Well Acki Kokotos is a Greek DJ and producer and Eric Prydz talking all the time about this guy, but the weird thing is that we have never heard any production by him. Anyway, John Digweed on his latest show played an ID (listen here) of Cirez D (one of Eric's alias) and he cinfirmed that it will be released on Pryda Friends. It sounds sick with a more dark techy touch, because it's under Cirez D alias. I'm very proud to be Greek, because a Greek man collaborated with this amazing artist. Eric Prydz dropped it at Queen Club in Paris during his last gig there back in November 2010, watch the video here. I added below a very good quality video with Eric playing the track live at Annexet for his huge gig in Stockholm last month.

Eric Prydz - BBC Radio 1 Mini Mix

On Anni Mac's radioshow yesterday, there was a Mini Mix as usual, but the thing is that made by the one and only mr Eric Prydz. Annie Mac is trying to get a Mini Mix by Eric Prydz for over three years and he has finally been nailed down to provide a minimix for us. Those who tuned on Annie's radioshow had the chance to listen Eric Prydz live on the phone talking with Annie. He was at the restaurant, having a dinner that time and he talked about the success of 'Niton'. Also Annie asked him if it was hard to make this Mini Mix, because his tracks are very long like 7 or more minutes and he answered that he tried to use 13 or 14 tracks and make them to sound like one single track. Enough with the words, just download and listen it.
