Royksopp was guests on '24 Hour Party People' this week and we got inside the mind of Nicholas Jaar in '15 Minutes Of Fame'. Eric Prydz - BBC Radio 1 Mini Mix

On Anni Mac's radioshow yesterday, there was a Mini Mix as usual, but the thing is that made by the one and only mr Eric Prydz. Annie Mac is trying to get a Mini Mix by Eric Prydz for over three years and he has finally been nailed down to provide a minimix for us. Those who tuned on Annie's radioshow had the chance to listen Eric Prydz live on the phone talking with Annie. He was at the restaurant, having a dinner that time and he talked about the success of 'Niton'. Also Annie asked him if it was hard to make this Mini Mix, because his tracks are very long like 7 or more minutes and he answered that he tried to use 13 or 14 tracks and make them to sound like one single track. Pete Tong didn't do his usual radioshow on BBC Radio 1 tonight and the first of the new year. He had a special show for tonight! Just before Christmas, 17/12/2010, Annie Mac and Pete Tong would have been broadcasting Deadmau5' gig at Glasgow, as a part of Deadmau5' December 2010 UK Tour. Unfortunately the day before, the whole event of Deadmau5 and Magnetic Man was canceled due to unpredictable weather. However they recorded the event the next day and as they promised, they broadcasted tonight 7/1/2011. So now you can enjoy the most famous mouse of the electronic music scene.

It's finally official, we have Christmas! Pete Tong celebrating this day with his own unique way on BBC Radio 1 and the very famous Essential Selection. The first part of the radioshow include classic and current Essential New Tunes from the past 20 years and then Axwell, Riva Starr and Afrojack keep the party moving with their own special guest mixes. A big thanx to Pete Tong for this dedication mix to dance music and for bringing us so many memories from the past. You are the only one House Guru!

Unfortunately the whole event of Deadmau5 and Magnetic Man in Glasgow canceled due to unpredictable weather, so Pete was live from studio as usual. BBC Radio 1 is gonna record the show today and it will be on the air on the 7th of January 2011. Pete Tong played for the second time the extraordinary 'Basto! - Gregory’s Theme', which will be released 28th December and the forthcoming new single of Afrojack and Bobby Burns 'Bridge'. Our journey to BBC Radio 1 don't stop here. We continue with the debut Essential Mix from the young swedish star Avicii. He had the chance to make this mix with the tracks that getting the best response of the crowd from his gigs. Avicii decided to unleash some unreleased anticipated tracks too. As he is saying in the mini introduction of the mix, Avicii is first producer and then DJ, many people are complaining about his mixing, but I think he is improving his skills alot with the time.
