The ever versatile Michael Gray, full Intention stalwart and star of 2000's hit 'Weekend' teams up with London based Italian Marco Lys of 'La Tromba' fame and Plastik Planet. The result is a subtly powerful groove that strikes a different chord from Gray's disco and electro outings and indeed from La Tromba's Latin flourishes. 'Flashbacks' grooves along on an undercurrent of funk embellished by a reduced octave, one-line vocal and sparingly employed organ stabs.
