Sebastien Leger - Origines

With an industrious and productive vigour, Sebastien Leger, has over the last decade become one of the most assured techno producers around. Eschewing the more obvious French filter house cliches his productions have taken on the robust dancefloor edge of his beloved Chicago house heroes and twisted them into his own electronic masterpieces. 'Origines' is the first of the three upcoming singles, taken from his forthcoming album with the same name, which is coming in May 2011 on his own imprint Mistakes Music. Groove, funky, disco, techy sounds as always, it already got the attention of James Talk. I'm really excited for his album, I hope to see Eric Prydz' anticipated album this year too! 'Origines' was released today and you can buy it on beatport.

Kaiserdisco - Simplistix (Sébastien Leger Remix)

Sebastien Leger has been at the top of his game for a decade now - respected by his contemporaries and idolised by those who worship at the altar of pleasure-seeking dance music. The last two years, Leger was a big disappointment for me, but it seems that he is back with a new remix, which is good for my taste! Finally he unleashed his remix for the Hamburg boys, Frederic Berger and Patrick Buck a.k.a. Kaiserdisco. Brilliant, funky, goovy and techy sounds as always with his unique style, it was released as aprt of 'Simplistix' remix package today through MBF Records. Tou can support it on beatport.

Julian Jeweil - Polaroid (Sebastien Leger Remix)

The last years, Sebastien Leger is a big disappointment for my taste. I used to love Leger's work but his lately stuff is very low in my opinion. Until today when I listened his brand new remix for Julian Jeweil's track 'Polaroid'. I have really long time to feel so excited for a Leger track, great funky-groovy beats with a techy sound, a truely monster. It was released today 15/12/2010 together with the Original Mix on his own label Mistakes Music and you can buy it on beatport.
