I'm Inspired From Paperbag Revolution (Bluelight Bootleg)

One of the leading names in house music for almost a decade has kicked off the New Year in style, almost one month ago. Funkerman (real name Ardie van Beek) dropped the release of two new tracks 'Paperbag Revolution' and 'Everyday Getaway' and the Dutch DJ and producer remains one of the hardest working men on the house music scene. 'Paperbag Revolution' is a very unique and fresh track, but some of you maybe want some vocals on it. Don't worry, my man Bluelight did a great vocal edit! He combined the amazing vocals of Audiowhores & Roland Clark's song 'I'm Inspired' with Funkerman's slaming track. Trust me, this one will rock many dancefloors. Help us to spread it! It's available for free, but don't forget to buy the original on beatport.

Funkerman - Paperbag Revolution

Funkerman, known to his postman as Ardie van Beek, is a very well known DJ and producer from Netherlands, also founder of Flamingo Recordings together with his buddy Fedde Le Grand. The F-man is back with his brand new two-track EP under the name 'Paperbag Revolution EP'.

The leading track 'Paperbag Revolution' demonstrates just how versatile an artist Funkerman actually is. Luring the listener in with a chilled ambient vibe reminiscent of his earlier work, he suddenly reminds us that this is not his first time on the decks by dropping in the kind of breakneck beat that helped to make 'Speed Up' such a global hit, fusing both sounds to create something unique. This is a more mature sound from Funkerman, adding layers of raw rhythm to the track to build to a crescendo, creating an effect that takes over the listener’s body and holds them for the duration of the song. 'Everyday Getaway' throws you straight into an industrial beat, a blend of horns and synth that sets an immediate mood. Its tracks like this that helped Funkerman gain international recognition and it starts as it means to go on. But as always Funkerman is an explorer playing with the expectations of his listeners, so just when you think you know what’s coming he surprises you by throwing in some free style jazz trumpet that takes the mood of the track to another level.

Let's everyone get his own paperbag and join the revolution! What a great start for a label to have as debut release this EP. It is available through Can You Feel It Records and you can purchase it on beatport.

Funkerman feat. Shermanology - Automatic (Ted Nilsson Re-Mode)

Ted Nilsson decided to recall Funkerman's 'Automatic' song from 2009 with a new re-mode version. 'Automatic' feautures amazing vocal from Shermanology and it was released on Funkerman and Fedde Le Grand's label Flamingo Recordings. Ted Nilsson's version is more cluby with nice piano chords and progressive sound. He is giving it for free, so feel free to spread it all around the world.
