Basto! - Gregory’s Theme (Olav Basoski Remix)

Meet Belgium's brightest rising star on the global music firmament, Basto!, who became famous to the globe, when he stepped onto the scene a few years ago with tracks like 'Kiss Yourself', 'Space Cake' and 'Out There' alongside the swedish superstar DJ/producer John Dahlback.

Once again Olav Basoski shows us that he deserves to be amongst the best producers in the world. He asked to do a remix for the amazing 'Gregory’s Theme' from Basto!, which already hammered by Pete Tong, Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Sander van Doorn, Judge Jules and Robbie Rivera. Olav likes the piano theme of the track and he was really happy when he asked to do the remix. As you can see he put his golden touch with sort of disco-funky and turn it into a different track. Olav is a real tune machine! This masterpiece was released today through Spinnin Records and you can buy it on beatport.

Basto! - Gregory's Theme

Basto! is on hand to deliver his latest multi-genre track ''Gregory’s Theme' and we are all over it. Maybe it will remind you Avicii's song 'Bromance' and for sure it's influenced by this one, but the piano riffs, especially before the drop, are unbelievable. Premiered by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 and played two times, also supported by Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Sander van Doorn, Judge Jules (BBC Radio 1), Robbie Rivera amongst others!

More info about Basto! on his facebook.

It was released today 28/12/2010 through the very famous label Spinnin' Records and you can buy it on Beatport.

Preview: Basto! - Gregory's Theme

Pete Tong's radioshow highlight from two weeks ago of course it was the two exclusive tracks from Pryda's EP, that it was released yesterday, but Pete Tong as always plyed great tracks. One of these is 'Gregory’s Theme' by the Belgium producer Basto! and since I listened it I can't get it out of my head. Yes I know many of you will say it sounds alot with Avicii and it's influenced  from 'Bromance', but I don't care because the track is a masterpice. The piano melody before the drop is unbelievable.  Already supported by Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Sander van Doorn, Judge Jules (BBC Radio 1), Robbie Rivera and some others. It will be released on Spinnin' Records on the 28th of December 2010. The preview teaser is below.
