Following in the footsteps of supremely talented South-coasters like James Zabiela, James Talk, Dave Spoon, Reset Robot and Alan Fitzpatrick, Ridney is on a one-man mission to bring the city of Southampton to the attention of party-goers the world over. The UK based DJ and producer now is dropping his brand new three track 'Way Forward EP' on Olav Basoski's Work imprint, which is one of many Spinnin Records' subdivisions. The EP features 'Akaroa', the massive 'Exhaust Heat', which has picked up a huge amount of support from names like Pete Tong, his co-producer James Talk and James Zabiela, (check the video below) and 'Sync Down', which is a disco bleebing track. Fusing disco, tech, and house all together to make the place melt, house hero Ridney has created something special again! A three track EP with booming sub basses pitched and glitchy vocals and driving synth loops makes this a dance floor killer. Other support from Axwell, Chris Lake, Mark Knight, Tocadisco, Orde Meikle and Andi Durrant! These proper warehouse tunes was released today and you can buy it on beatport.

Preview: James Talk & Ridney feat. Max C - One For Me
One of the unsung heroes of the UK house music scene, James Talk has gone from a fledgling producer and DJ championed by Pete Tong to a global star, gracing the world's most respected labels and clubs on a regular basis. In an age when the continental European sound dominates the house and techno scene, James Talk remains one of the UK's brightest talents, reminding the world where tech house came from in the first place. A breath of fresh air from the droves of posturing scenesters and minimal chinstrokers, his is a sound which goes back to the visceral essentials. Following in the footsteps of supremely talented South-coasters like James Zabiela, James Talk, Dave Spoon, Reset Robot & Alan Fitzpatrick, Ridney is on a one-man mission to bring the city of Southampton to the attention of party-goers the world over. Following up their previous hits like 'Sunshyne', 'West End Girls' and 'Forever', which all of them have scored 'Essential New Tunes' on the Pete Tong BBC Radio 1 show, they boys present us their new single. After being premiered on Pete Tong's 'Essential Selection' last Friday, I think it deserves a post on our site. The track is called 'One For Me' and features the amazing voice of Max C with bigroom bassline! The release date is still unknown, so stay tuned.

Ridney - Arrivals

I bring you a massive EXCLUSIVE to Daft Sound! You cannot find this anywhere else unless you buy it from Beatport, like I did! I have been waiting for this along time, as Paul 'Ridney' is one of my favourite producers at the moment. This tracks was Originally released on Asterix Records, until Steve Angello picked it up for his SIZE label. What a brilliant decision that was Steve! This track is just an overall amazing track and I'm sure will fly to the top of the Beatport chart. Also included with this release was the 'SIZE Remix' which had a lot of people talking about who it could be, but now I can finally reveal it is.......Christian Smith! Who has brought out tracks like 'East Village' & 'Automatic'.
