To say that Jason Chance lives and breathes music would be a definite understatement. 10 years of DJing and running his own club nights have led to Jason firmly establishing himself as one of the London underground club scene's rising stars and 2011 looks set to propel him into the limelight even more. His latest single is called 'Looking Forward' featuring the wonderful vocals from Michelle Weeks, with his unique driving, upfront and infectious house sound, this record is just amazing. The EP comes along in a very interesting package with remixes from one of UK's and not only best music duos The Shapseshifters and Italian respected DJ/producer Stefano Noferini. This quality release was released today through Roger Sanchez' Stealth imprint and you can support any track on beatport.

K-Klass feat. Bobbi - Capture Me
As one of the most experienced and influential house production outfits still in the scene today, K-Klass demand a level of respect uncommon in the world of electronic production. Now down to two of the original members, Russell Morgan and Paul Roberts, the group has lost none of its potency as their latest release on Nocturnal Grooves shows. Nocturnal Grooves Vol.3: Mixed By Pookie
With two successful volumes of the Nocturnal Grooves compilation series under their belt, the Shapeshifters have passed the baton onto fellow label artist Pookie from Serbia to give his own unique twist to this catalogue mix. Highlighting a selection of the tracks that have been released on the label throughout 2010, this compilation features productions and remixes from the likes of The Shapeshifters, Candi Staton, Gramophonedzie, Danism, Alias Rhythm, Jason Chance, Dave Floyd & Pookie, Miss Divine & Jon Kong, Doman & Gooding, Roy Mclaren and StereoSoulSystem. So I picked my four favourite tunes from the compilation and I'm sharing them with you. The first is a wicked remix back from 2008 by the label onwers for We Deliver's song 'Supernatural. The second is again from The Shapeshifters, a classic re-work of 'Candi Staton - Musical Freedom' with big piano keys and soaring strings. In the third track Alias Rythm teamed up with cohort Sandy Spady to deliver this solid house tune and for the end Jason Chance's debut release 'Head Shake' on Noctural Groove Digital from last July with strong beats and slammin synths combined with a techy twisted hook.
