Aki Bergen - Don't Forget EP

The next release on Leaders Of The New School, subdivision of Mark Knight's Toolrool Records, takes you deep with Aki Bergen's smooth, stripped down 'Don't Forget EP'. Aki's gaining huge support from the likes of Joris Voorn, Noir, Great Stuff and the elite of the house fraternity.

'Don't Forget The Drummer' focuses on the slick drums and real deep grooves set off by the floating, filtering stabs. If the laid back sounds of The Timewriter's are your thing then this is the perfect track for you. Second track 'Don't Forget The Pianist' maintains the deep vibe whilst instilling a progressive feel through a sweet melody gliding alongside a sparkling piano. This is a great 2-tracker for the deeper floors and perfect for those early sets. The EP was released 28/2/2011 and you can buy it on beatport.

Markus Binapfl & Miss Kelly Marie feat. Alexandra Prince - Disco

The Berlin based DJ/producer Markus Binapfl a.k.a. Big World no needs introduction, he have been involved in the global music scene for more than a decade and he has an impressive string of successes to his name. One of the UK's most successful female DJs/producer Miss Kelly Marie collaborated with Markus for their new single 'Disco', which features the vocal talents of Alexandra Prince. Markus and Kelly smashes it from the first beat of this uncompromising, fully charged dancefloor stomp. A driving boompty bassline with loads of sassy attitude combines with a range of massive stabs to power it forward. This really is some "crazy disco shit"! It was released through Subusa Records, which is a subdivision of Erick Morillo's Subliminal imprint! Purchase it on junodownload.

Above & Beyond feat. Richard Bedford - Sun & Moon

Above & Beyond's 'Sun & Moon' is the first single to be taken from their eagerly anticipated second studio album 'Group Therapy'. Made for the festival stages and big room arenas of this world, the song blends a funky tech groove and a huge club-smashing riff with poignant, bittersweet break-up lyrics, sung by 'Alone Tonight' and 'Stealing Time' vocalist Richard Bedford. 'Sun & Moon' is really 'Alone Tonight' part 2. It’s a break up song, but with a twist, namely the idea that even though relationships end in the physical world they live on in your memory forever. Currently placed on BBC Radio 1's 'In New Music We Trust' playlist and plyed by Pete Tong a few days ago! 'Sun & Moon' was released on 20th March, alongside remixes from 7 Skies, Dennis Sheperd, Kim Fai, Distance, Seiji and The Others. Purchase it on beatport.

Style Of Eye - Sexx

Sebastian Ingrosso must have realised how much his label 'Refune' could be one of the biggest labels around because this year he is signing up new artists and releasing new tracks every other week! After just releasing the massive "Dynamite/Nillionaire EP" from Alesso, this time he has got Style Of Eye to release a new track which is full of catchy beats, and awesome loops of a vocal which says "Hey" lots of times in the track ;) This year could well be a big year for Sebastian and his label, seen as his best friends and co-members of Swedish House Mafia are also releasing lots of new tracks on their own labels too! Expect much more from this label in 2011! Released today on Refune Records and available to download now exclusively on beatport.

Cirez D & Acki Kokotos - Tomorrow/Sirtos Madness EP

Fresh from his massive latest track 'Full Stop', comes another big track which is expected to be released on Mouseville soon. Cirez D is having one massive year up to now and has decided to team up with Acki Kokotos for this huge 2 track EP. 'Tomorrow' is the biggest of the two for as it really does sound like the usual big progressive track from Cirez D! Then we have 'Sirtos Madness Madness' which is completely different from the first track. It builds up while also giving out so many awesome sounds, then bang!, your back with that Cirez D bassline! Released today on Eric's label Mouseville Records and available to download now exclusively on beatport.

More info about Acki Kokotos on his facebook and twitter.

Deadmau5 - HR 8938 Cephei

So Deadmau5 uploaded 3 previews on soundcloud yesterday and then took the blame for the site going completely down! haha!! This track was my favourite out of the three, with its uplifting slow progressive "Strobe" style! Hopefully he will release some really big tracks this year, as 2010 was a massive year for the Canadian born producer. It was also amazing how fast he got the track released on beatport on his record label Mau5trap Recordings! Alos he has just said on facebook/twitter that "Get In The Cart Pig" is finished, for me this track is one of my all time favourite tracks from him, cant wait to hear it fully! The track was released today and its exclusively available to download now on beatport

More info about Deadmau5 on his facebook, twitter and soundcloud.

Martin Eyerer feat Sian Kosheen - Your Move (Kaiserdisco Remix)

When the German DJ and producer Martin Eyerer tells a story, everybody listens. 'Your Move' from last last year is for sure a music story! Both Frederic Berger and Patrick Buck a.k.a. Kaiserdisco are true boys from Hamburg. They are in their mid 30's and have had single careers of their own for more than 10 years, but when they joined forces things began to simmer. If they do a vocal remix it has do be something special! Sian Evans of Kosheen has without a doubt one of the beautiful voices in the world and they are very happy to had the chance to do a track with this outstanding voice. Check their amazing deep remix, which already playlisted from the one and only Pete Tong on his 'Essential Selection' via BBC Radio 1. It was released yesterday through BluFin Records and you can buy it on beatport.

FDH feat. Thee Nese Djouma Projesi - Zaman (Moguai Remix)

The year 2010 was one that will be remembered as a year of change, development and advancement in both life and in culture. Perhaps this is part of the reason for the phenomenal rise of Andre Tegeler, better known to the dance community as Moguai. A far-reaching and highly respected DJ on his homegrown German circuit, it could also be argued that you only get out what you put in - with this case, Moguai has fully reaped the rewards of a hard working ethos and highly honed production sound, firmly establishing himself as a One to Watch for 2011 and a rapidly growing worldwide fan-base.

After the success of the original 'Zaman' by the legendary American DJ and producer Felix Da Housecat with the killer vocals from Thee Nese Djouma Projesi, this song is back. We have to make alot of discussion now, just listen the preview below. As you can listen Moguai's remix is very influenced from Axtones' latest big hit 'Blow Up (Thomas Gold vs. Axwell Remix)'. I always respect Moguai and his tracks, but this is one does not sounds good to be. The remix is really good, but it's like a rip off of 'Blow Up'. What do you think guys? Anyway, it was released today through Doorn Records and you can buy it on beatport.

Swanky Tunes feat. Mr. V.I. - Together (Incl. Remixes)

Of all the exciting new house sounds coming out of the East these days, Swanky Tunes (Vadim Shpak, Dmitry Burykin, Stanislav Zaytsev, Vadim Bagdasaryan) ranks among the most noteworthy. Swanky Tunes are glad to present their new single 'Together' in cooperation with great vocalist Mr. V.I.  The package will come out  with amazing remixes from Swanky Tunes's best friends Hard Rock Sofa, who are one of the top producer and DJ trio in Russia, consisting of Alexander Shapovalov, Denis Chepikov and Sergey Zuev, and young dutch talent Jaz Von D . The biggest intrigue of this release is that Mr. Laidback Luke wrote lyrics for 'Together' and he will release it on his own label MixMash Records.  The EP was released yesterday and you can buy it exclusively on beatport.

Coloursound - Fly With Me (Ramon Tapia Back To The 90s Piano Remix)

Let's welcome the second part of remixes of this milestone in the history of house music, Coloursound's 'Fly With Me' was originally released bac in 2002 on the British label City Rockers with Damian Lazarus as A&R and is now back on Great Stuff's Roots Edition series. Produced by British DJ/producers Dylan Burns & Stretch Silvester it got the remix treatment from the house superstar Ramon Tapia. The dutchman created a fantastic oldskool influenced remix, which perfectly explain his cultural curiosity and his deep rooted sense for groove and rhythm. Amazing piano synths and harmonic driving beats. Already supported from Aaron Ross via his weekly radioshow for Defected Records. Great Stuff Recordings is one of the most powerful labels in dance music and this release aproves that. The EP was released 14/3/2011 and you cna buy it on beatport.

The Aston Shuffle Ft Lovers Electric - Start Again (Hook N Sling Remix)

Being tropical with his latest amazing remix of Axtone's first release of this year 'Blow Up' alongside DJ Goodwill, the Sydney-based Hook N Sling is ready for a fantastic year. There is no denying that the eyes and ears of the world's dance music fraternity are focussed firmly on Hook N Sling in 2011. In just a few short years the man has gone from aspiring DJ to hot DJ and producer property. In a time where production is as important as DJ finesse Hook N Sling stands tall ticking both boxes. Just a few days ago Hook N Sling revealed one of his forthcoming remixes, it's for The Aston Shuffle's new vocal masterpiece 'Start Again'. In 2011 will see Hook N Sling keeping up a relentless touring and release schedule. In the words of the man himself "Look out I'm coming!". The remix was released on Down Right Records on the 10/03/2011 and is available to buy now on beatport.

Avicii & Sebastien Drums - Snus

After Avicii has been releasing massive tracks on his facebook and soundcloud this week, Sebastien Drums treated us with a preview of the upcoming monster new track with Avicii. Well here it is, just released today on Vicious Records! Every time these two team up for a track they always smash it, no matter what type of track they do. This time they have gone for that dirty progressive beat, with a catchy piano loop which builds up then builds back into that monster bass which really needs to be played on some seriously massive speakers! Another release with the remix from Christian Luke will be released soon. The track is available now to buy on beatport with the just as awesome remix from Green & Faulkner!

Preview: Calvin Harris - Awooga (Official Video)

Calvin Harris is finally back with a new track "Awooga" which is a sample of whats to come from his new album which is currently in the making. Now yes this a lot different to Calvin's previous big tracks like "Flashback" & "You Used To Hold Me" but I do love this new track. This is him moving in a new direction and creating big tracks for the likes of ibiza and other massive clubs all around the world for the summer. Also the word Awooga originates from a program called Red Dwarf and then was used by Kriss Akabusi and John Fashnu who said it lots on Gladiators here in the UK. Anyway the track will be released on Calvin's own label Fly Eye Records on 21/03/2011 on beatport. Enjoy the preview below!

More info about Calvin Harris on his facebook, twitter and myspace.

Preview: Roger Sanchez - Flashing Lights

2011 has started off to be an incredible year for Roger Sanchez, working hard in the studio on new tracks, a new monthly Release Yourself residency in Las Vegas, and playing shows from New York to New Zealand! Roger Sanchez's life is a series of high-energy moments separated by flashing lights.  He blinks and he is in a new country, rocking a new club, and bringing the party to a new group of fans.  This is the life that Roger Sanchez has come to love, and thus the theme for 2011 is 'Flashing Lights'. The term not only describes the life of Roger, but also the way he plans to release content over 2011 and the visuals for his new live show. The first great flash of light will be Release Yourself 2011 at Mansion, during Miami Music Week. Check out this video teaser of the new Roger Sanchez, and 'Flashing Lights'.

More info about Roger Sanchez on his facebook, twitter and soundcloud.

Micky More feat. Angela Johnson - Too Late

Following Simbad's incredible debut on Hi:Rise, Micky More joins forces with former Reel People collaborator Angela Johnson for the label’s second release. While the Original goes deep with warm bass stabs and simple yet effective key stabs, Johnson's luscious vocal means that soul is never too far out of the musical equation. On the remix front, Fanatix add in a cheekily wandering bassline and bring some additional keys to the front of the mix, Andy & Dave beef up the drums and sharpen the synths for a more main room vibe, while Swedish star Rasmus Faber delivers a retro-sounding yet highly polished interpretation, direct from the golden days of house music. It was released 9/3/2011 and you can buy the tracks on defected.
