Hercules and Love Affair is a musical project from New York based DJ Andy Butler. Members include Andrew Butler, Kim Ann Foxman, Nomi Ruiz and Antony Hegarty. You propably know their hit single 'Blind' from 2008. 'Blue Songs' is their sophomore studio album, including their new single 'My House', solid grooves and quite catchy.
I didn't believe that this song can be better, but Marco Niemerski, better known as Tensnake, had a different opinion. In a country famed for industrial-sized techno beats, Tensnake must be considered one of Germany’s more idiosyncratic producers. Following up last year's hit 'Coma Cat', this remix can't be bad. This is what I call true house music, perfect melody with wonderful vocals. Already picked many times by Pete Tong on his weekly radioshow and also it's a former Essential New Tune. Hercules & Love Affair have released the video for this record, the video features the group performing the track at a 80's dance show titled My House, watch the video here. The remix was realeased 6/3/2011 through Moshi Moshi Music and you can buy it on beatport.
