Simian Mobile Disco - Sweetbread

London-based duo James Ford and Jas Shaw a.k.a. Simian Mobile Disco have spent the last 18 months beavering away in the studio, working on under-the-radar techno tunes for their 'Delicacies' imprint. The album contains eight tracks and each track is named after a bizarre foreign delicacy, also there is a mixed bonus disc, recorded live in the duo’s east London studio, the 'Space Cave'.

The track that provoked my curiosity is 'Sweetbread', which is a former 'Essential New Tune' and it was played two times in a row by Pete Tong on his weekly radioshow for the BBC Radio 1. The album wa released on the 29th of November 2010, and it is already available on beatport.

For those who are interested, the Official Music Video of 'Sweetbread' is available on youtube. It's little creapy and weird, if you are a vegetarian or an animal lover I recommend you not to watch it!
